[…] On Tour […]
Frances,
Congratulations!
Have you approached Book People in Austin TX? This sounds like something much of Austin would be interested in.
——————–
Great idea, Mercedes. I would love to get to Austin and appear at Book People.
That city embodies so many of the values in Getting a Grip. I’ll try. Good to hear from you,
Frankie
Wonderful to hear of your new film and new book! I look forward to them!

Wonderful, Frankie!
I’ll see you at City Lights in San Francisco on Monday evening, November 26th.
I am certain that you have many friends in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I would be honored if you and associates traveling with you would accept my invitation for dinner–between 5 and 6:30pm–time and location are your call (or mine if you choose) the evening of the event. If this invitation does not work for you, consider a time to meet while you are in the area.
I met with the Northern California Marines Recruiting Officer this morning and spent ten minutes telling what I know to be truth to him including sharing Naomi Kline’s Disaster Capitalism in Harpers–a revealing piece of the very powerful dark privatization agenda in which we now live. I stood tall and in this instance, I did not hear myself applauding as my heart thumped in my chest, I must, clearly, walk on stages that challenge me more. Thank you for sharing that physiological indicator.
My deep respect and love,
Theo Ferguson

My very best to you for all
Just wondering if you or someone will come to Little Rock. Did I miss it?
Congratulations and keep up the work. The world still has to wake up to today to survive tomorrow.
Best regards
Kasiya
Hi Kasiya,
Thanks for the note! Frances isn’t currently scheduled to be in Little Rock, unfortunately. Keep an eye on the tour schedule in the upcoming months for changes…
Best,
Jess

I heard that you were supposed to be in Ashland, Oregon on March 10, 2008 at SOU. Is this true?
We would love to come hear you speak in Los Angeles! Maybe Booksoup in Hollywood?
I’ve just ordered “Getting A Grip” and can hardly wait to read it.
Lisa
I heard you speak last night at the South Church in Portsmouth. Your optimism is so inspiring. Thanks for that! Also, as a new member of the Portsmouth community, it was great to meet some of the wonderful people who came out for the event.
